Landscape Operative

Archway Green are seeking enthusiastic and pro-active landscape operatives to join our rapidly growing team of landscape professionals with a mission to do things differently to how they are currently done in the industry.
We are a unique and experienced company with offices based in Surrey, Sussex and The West Midlands. We work on key projects both in the residential and commercial sectors in London & Surrey. Our Construction Division has experience in constructing various landscapes from roof terraces to large country estates.
As a Soft Landscape Operative you will be expected to be pro-active in completing daily tasks and assisting the construction requirements of other senior members of the team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading of trees and plants.
• Planting of trees and shrubs in gardens.
• Turfing lawns.
• Bark mulching

Requirements

Skills/experience needed:

• Proven experience of working effectively within a team.
• Hard working and motivated to achieve high standards of work on every project.
• A self-starter, able and willing to demonstrate initiative.
• Be courteous, approachable and friendly at all times, in this public-facing role.
• Be punctual and arrive ready for work.
• Work in a clean and efficient manner and extreme attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Proven experience of working within a landscaping environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels.
• ROLO or CSCS certification preferred.
